Village Hall - Offers three different rooms (Main Hall, Garden Room and Committee Room) for hire.

Badminton Club - An enthusiastic group meet every Tuesday between 10 and 11 am at the Northgate Arena, (followed by coffee of course!). All welcome - Just drop into the Northgate Arena at 10am if you would like to join in.

Book Club - Meets monthly throughout the year at the village hall. Very informal, books are chosen reflect the interests of the group.

Cricket - Mollington and Backford Cricket Club is a sociable and friendly Sunday cricketing side who welcome players of any standard and any age (one match last season had an age range from 10 to 70). They promise few nets, few practices and few wins! New players are warmly welcomed, particularly if they have the ability to hold a bat the right way round. If you have never played, the Mollington vs. Lea & Backford games are great fun. Culture Club - The club (Drama, Music, Talks) was founded in 1998 to support and enrich the cultural life within the parish. It is a member of the Cheshire Rural Touring Network (RTN) which gives access to a wide variety of high quality performances from a range of touring companies and individuals and of course the pantomime. Suggestions have been made for a Film Club, Chess Club and Walking trips, to name but a few. If You would like information on forthcoming events

Fitness Club - Exercise to Music! The most essential components which will enable us to carry out our everyday activities with ease, are: Cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility. All these components are covered in this fitness class which is currently attended by a wide ranging age groups.

Gardening - Once a year, the Village Hall Committee arrange for a reputable supplier to provide the most popular varieties of Summer bedding plants and hanging baskets to order. An order form is delivered to all residents in early March and typically the plants are available for collection, from the Village Hall, on a pre-arranged day in mid May. contact us here if you do not receive a form..

Mothers' Union - : The Mothers' Union is a Christian Organisation which promotes the well being of families worldwide. The St. Oswald's Branch fundraise for M.U. projects at home and overseas. Members visit Crabwall Hall Residents for Easter, Harvest and Christmas and enjoy fellowship with each other at monthly meetings. The Group initiated the Family Friendly Area in Church, help with preparations for special family services, send anniversary cards for those baptised at St, Oswald's and are involved in the New Baptism programme.

The Mollington Singers - are a ladies choir which rehearses weekly in the Methodist Church Hall, Saughall. The ladies repertoire is constantly being extended and reviewed, which enables the choir to give concerts of varied music in support of charities, clubs and associations. The choir would be delighted to present a full concert or after business or dinner entertainment. They also enjoy entertaining retirement clubs. New members are always welcome. Royal British Legion Club - 20 Heath Road, Upton- by-Chester. Mollington Branch was established in 1946 and anyone wishing to join please contact the Chairman. Any queries from ex-servicemen are dealt with confidentially.
